JOSS STONE, the legendary independent singer-songwriter from Devon/UK has been keeping incredibly busy since the release of her debut album “The Soul Sessions” when she was just 15 years old. With eight albums released in 16 years, Grammy and Brit-award winning Joss has not only grown artistically, but also developed a keen sense of what she wants to focus on in her musical career.

While she has kept the company of musical royalty with performances alongside revered artists such as James Brown, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Sting, Van Morrison, Melissa Etheridge, Joss has always been known to experiment with different styles in her own work as well. Her albums feature a colourful tapestry of various influences, creating a catalogue characterized by
fusing her powerful soul vocals with reggae, world music, and hip hop soundscapes.

Her latest record Never Forget My Love (February 2022) is no exception, writing and producing with her long-time friend and collaborator, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics). Joss set out to create an album full of “adult, deliberate songs”, written with the intention and poise of past classic American songwriters and relatable lyrics.

‘You know – think of Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick – those kinds of classy, timeless songs. Think long gloves and a dress’.

2022 has been full of high notes for Joss, to mention a few – performances at the ‘Jardin Pedralbes’ festival in Barcelona, ‘Stadtpark’ festival in Hamburg, ‘Soul Live’ in the Netherlands and the ‘Umbria Jazz’ festival in Italy. Whilst expecting her second child in October 2022, Joss is looking to release her first ever holiday
album ‘Merry Christmas, Love’ featuring popular Christmas classics like Jingle Bell’s and Stevie Wonder’s ‘What Christmas means to me’. The album harbours a mesmerising blend of orchestral instrumentation with Joss’s unique voice, channelling her nostalgia and joy for Christmas.

Looking ahead, 2023 sees Joss celebrate ‘20 Years on Stage’. To mark this anniversary, she will be back on tour in Europe for a short run in February/March and playing several summer festivals, taking
the audience on a musical journey of her most recent records and timeless hits.
